Australia Import Requirements

Vaccinations, Tests, and Microchips
Your pet must meet various requirements before they are allowed in Australia, and there are specific timelines for some tests, vaccines, and microchipping. Before relocating, your dog or cat to the country, they have to meet these requirements:
Do they need to be microchiped?
All pets need to be microchipped to enter Australia. Microchips are only recommended for pets that are at least eight weeks of age, so if you’re traveling with a very young animal, you may have to wait to have them microchipped and go through all treatments and testing to enter the country.
What Vaccines do they need?
All animals that are relocating to Australia need specific vaccinations and treatments to be eligible to enter Australia. While many pets require similar vaccinations it is always best to know what your pet needs in specific as they can vary. Reaching out to an All Paws representative is quick and simple and will have you certain about what vaccinations your pet is in need of before travel avoiding any unnecessary delay when traveling.
